What movie am I talking about? Back to the Future the Ride to release free album Tron Legacy

In what is surely proof that our pop-culture reality has collapsed and spun back in on itself, Back to the Future the Ride (solo project of Foot Village’s Brian Miller) has announced that he will be releasing a free album, inspired by once-cutting-edge movie Tron and its forthcoming sequel Tron Legacy, titled Tron Legacy on December 7 through Miller’s own Deathbomb Arc label.

“When I saw the first trailers for the movie Tron Legacy,” Miller says, discussing his influence, “I was very excited. I think it looks beautiful and does exactly what the first one did: create a fairy tale about contemporary technology.”

So, Mr. Miller, can you tell us what the album is about, beyond its obvious themes of Tron?

“My album, Tron Legacy, is a journey down an alternate time line in which the advancements of today’s world were made not only with yesterday’s technology, but with yesterday’s less commercialized, more home-grown love of the tools.”

In other news, Walt Disney World the Theme Park will be releasing a free album on December 8 titled Batman Three: The Dark Knight Rises.

Tron Legacy tracklisting:

01. The re-Dawn of Distance
02. CGI Fridays
03. Surface to Air Hieroglyph
04. Full Moon on an Empty Planet
05. Sleep on Stars Tonight
