Wolf Eyes announce tour in support of upcoming album Undertow, launch Bleep store

Time to own up: there’s some seriously big Wolf Eyes-related news we somehow forgot to report on when it transpired a few weeks ago. Oops. But hey, what better occasion than the announcement of a major inter-continental tour to make that up! So here it is: the Michigan noise veterans are coming out with a new album, titled Undertow, on March 24. The LP will be released via Lower Floor Music, a new imprint the band has launched specifically for the occasion.

According to the press release, the five-track album “finds the trio diving into new depths of the electronic and free jazz infected world. A world they created themselves from scratch, running over the course of two decades.” Undertow follows 2015’s I Am A Problem: Mind In Pieces, and its title track (which you can stream below) seems to continue in a similarly hypnotic vein to that LP’s more subdued fragments.
