Zombi tour, to release new album Shape Shift

This fall, Zombi are returning, and I’m not talking about The Walking Dead or Fear of the Walking Dead or iZombie or The Cranberries song. No, I’m talking about those two dark electronic Philly dudes, who will tour in support of their new album Shape Shift to be released on Relapse Records October 16 (also the same date as the release of member Steve Moore’s original motion picture soundtrack, Cub). Check out the track “Mission Creep” from the new album here:

Zombi bring forth an impressive live act, where they play multiple instruments concurrently. I know what you’re saying. So what? I can jack/rub my weird penis/clitoris while driving and eating a Double Down at the same time. Well, go see Zombi live to see them do much more than masturbate, such as incorporating textural compositions with the dark ambient grooves we expect from the Year of the Sheep. On a majority of the dates, label mates and Texan duo Pinkish Black join Zombi to crush your weird penis/clitoris with a mix of post-punk, no-wave, and industrial styles.
