Ask and ye shall receive. In September 2014, approximately 176,000 years ago, I was all like, “Somebody put this kid’s stuff out on vinyl and/or cassette.” This kid was All These Fingers, who recently landed one of his biggest beat placements to date with “The Day The Earth Stood Still” on Mr Muthafuckin eXquire’s Merry ex-Mas and SMD 2, and the somebody that heeded my call was FUZZOSCOPE, which describes itself as “a platform for releasing and archiving audible artifacts.” And with 30 beats, plus a full color photo book, for only $6, this HOODS tape is some kind of bargain.
So, fast-forward about four months and here I am, a vinyl guy — that is, one who prefers to buy music on vinyl; not a man made of vinyl — about to make my second cassette purchase of the month. All These Fingers, Tiny Mix Tapes, what have you done to me?!
