♫♪  Candace - Covers 2016-2019

Portland, OR trio Candace have been blazing a path of slow, shoegazey rock for damn near a decade, from their origins in Minnesota to their current Pacific Northwest home base. In addition to absolute fire long players, like last year’s New Ruins, Candace have put out an annual Valentine’s Day cover EPs since 2016, with their latest arriving just in time for either your favorite or least favorite Hallmark holiday.

The band have recorded three new covers (tunes from Spacemen 3, Bobb Trimble, and Barry McGuire) and compiled them with their previous seven works, on the aptly titled Covers 2016-2019. It’s available as a name your price download, so I don’t know what to tell you other than this one’s good when you’re in the mood to brood (hint: I’m always down for a brood sesh).
