♫♪  Klaus - TNM004

Content saturated we are to the point that “information overload” seems laughably quaint, an artist going fully not prolific becomes a welcome counterbalance. True for London producer Klaus, who, following a 2011 debut EP on R&S, established taunm, through which he’s done four 12-inch releases since 2012.

Pretty thin stats wise, but the producer’s work - seemingly constructed from echo, whispers, memories, and other intangibles - is material that could crumble to dust without the proper care. Or, worse, overtake it’s signature fragility.

Latest 12-inch, TNM004, brings three new tracks into view, breaking the silence but just barely. Klaus’s production is seemingly less composed than formed- naturally, across duration, stalactites growing drop by patient drop, in each drop a trace of calcium. Tracks that pass briefly yet are totally worth the wait. Sound of cobweb catching light.
