Do you remember when you use to tell me that everything happens for a reason? I don’t believe that anymore. I’ve lost a lot over the past few months, time-consuming, meaningful work. It’s hard to reconcile with, to find a reason for. Reassembling the pieces has been equally frustrating and heartbreaking. Attached to this letter are some of the scrapped together pieces that I found scattered about.
Remember stargazing out by JHS after dark? What about the little plays that we would put on for our parents? Or spending snow days back in your woods following fox tracks. hoping to find something? Do you remember what you said to me right before I had to leave in the moving van?
I’m not sure why I wrote you or attached these. Maybe I just wanted to let you know that I don’t think everything happens for a reason.
