♫♪  Rob Karpay - “Ethos” / “Eternal Drop”

Songwriter Rob Karpay, who is also a full-time member of Life Size Maps, happens to have been a student of music, having graduated from the Manhattan School of Music for Composition, and he’s been itching to start releasing material under his own name for a while now. “Ethos” and “Eternal Drop,” both released toward the end of last year, are just the beginning of what will surely be an extensive and interesting string of singles Karpay puts out as he prepares a full-length for the near future. For now, Karpay’s output is inspired and influenced by the 80s-throwback synth pop explosion of the mid-2000s (Robyn, The Presets, etc.), which has been overdue for major retrospective appreciation anyway.
