There’s earnestly something inspiring about just a bunch of people jamming out and feeling a piece of music together. It’s an experience that’s unlike no other because there’s a spirit involved, but something more like the jammers are Ghostbusters, harnessing an aura, but only together can the captivate it. Ben Seretan [& Co.] really pulled out the sweatbands for this banger, ‘cause “Take 2.” !!!!!!!!!!!!! “Take 2!” Totally implying this is the second jam the gang is tossing around off their newest death rehearsal tapes cassette, Yellow Roses. Like how Metalica’s “No Leaf Clover” starts out “And we’ll do it right this time, (aside from the intro’d saxatmosphone) the title “Take 2” resonates an idea that Ben Seretan’s newest jam —and Side-A of Yellow Roses CS— was only their SECOND TRY. And shit, it was successful.
Speaking of which, y’all been gardening? Because not only have I uprooted a tree stump and planted me a nice bunch of Yellow Roses in the front yard, but I’m a general believer that playing music for my garden is extremely beneficial. Imagine the wild child buds I’ll be nippin’ after playing it a few reels of Ben Seretan. Just me, in my front yard, lawn-chain, “Take 2,” maybe some fertilizer and a watering-can; u kno u kno u kno u kno u kno u kno. So snag yo-self a bed at the local florist after purchasing the newest death rehearsal tapes release of Yellow Roses by Ben Seretan, and feel “Take 2” in the mean time
