Having listened to Saints (OST) (PRE-ORDER HERE; out November 16) by Hiele in its entirety, watching the video for “Saints (OST)” helps me better understand the complimentary attitude presented within the release’s growing synthetics. Pensive siren sounds echoing the wind that brings audible vibrations across the Earth. Trickling melodies programmed like the way water cycles itself through the sky and atmosphere. Open-air moments swelling the senses with something of blight, but equally home-bodied. An act of filling the world. When leaves can’t stop vegetating because Mother nature completes the sun on land and water can’t keep still enough, so growing is the only option. Soil coquilles. Roots entangled within a harmony of growing colors. As-if light sonically refracts.
