Chameleon musician Pine Grove has just released a gorgeous array of beams entitled When We Meet Again. Drawing from genres such as ambient, pop, drone, trip-hop, experimental production, etc., Pine Grove dives into the label-shared (SHUT_INS 封じ込める and Left of Field Records) release of When We Meet Again on a completely chilled note. There’s no front or hard-angle, even when things get harsher or piercing, When We Meet Again remains within at atmosphere unjilted by the various directions Pine Grove takes with it. Sometimes it’s a harsh white-noise effect perfectly affecting the soft, blown-out percussion in the back ground. Maybe a pensive division of scattered bass, talkative samples, and spacey melody. All-in-all, the overload is sustained by the vibe of “feel” through the maintenance of mood.
