♫♪  Murlo - “Into Mist”

Grime producer Murlo’s just rubbing it in all our faces. Not only are his glamorous, dancehall influenced grime productions pristine, but he also can create some hypnotic visuals that color his sound strangely accurately. “Into Mist” is the title track of Murlo’s new EP (released YESTERDAY via Rinse), and its video features some Greek statues chilling with some goopy Flubber substance that really responds to Murlo’s riddims. Murlo’s work, both sonic and visual, is symphonic yet uses a palette usually reserved for silliness, creating a world that feels reverent but also like a damn good party. The symmetry is so satisfying. The color game is on point (like every Easter egg color yet without ever feeling like an entire rainbow). And did we mention the riddims?!?!
