Public Speaking really goes out on a limb with the way the output makes music. Maybe I haven’t listened to a lot of Public Speaking’s works outside of “Blacksite Blues,” but the whole project bares similar resemblance to Autre Ne Veut or How To Dress Well, only baring vocals similar to 90s alternative rock, or lite-grunge. But, I suppose that’s real in the modern retrograde of nostalgia. Like, people are constantly trying to reup on sounds. So shouts-out Public Speaking for keeping the cogs in gear. So scope the live video above, and then the single version on the new Public Speaking release, Caress, Redact (out September 28, 2016).
