There’s going to be a lot of battle scars and drunken stories shared when Cursive’s Tim Kasher and Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba find themselves on the road together this winter. One piece of advice? If you see the two of them hanging out at a bar in your hometown, try and convince them to play “Never Have I Ever,” because with their storied pasts, there is just no way either of them stand a chance at winning. In between rounds on the road, Alkaline Trio will be supporting their newest album, This Addiction, due February 23 through Epitaph, and Cursive will still be touring in support of last year’s Mama, I’m Swollen (TMT Review).
