Blackest Ever Black reissues Caroline K's rare 1985 album Now Wait for Last Year

Blackest Ever Black and Austrian purveyors of fine recordings Klanggalerie are set to reissue Now Wait For Last Year, the only solo record by Nocturnal Emissions and Sterile Records co-founder Caroline K, on vinyl this April 26. You can stream the dark and druggy track “Animal Lattice” below.

The LP, originally released in 1985, is a collector’s fave, making it hard to find and, you know, sorta $$$. The album is named after a 1966 sci-fi novel by Philip K. Dick, in which a super addictive, deadly hallucinogenic pill gives people the ability to time travel — as well as horrible cravings and paranoia. It’s available for pre-order now.

Now Wait For Last Year tracklisting:

A1. The Happening World
B1. Animal Lattice
B2. Chearth
B3. Tracking With Close-Ups
B4. Leaving
