You can’t always get what you want, but sometimes you get MUCH MORE than you need. Fans of the hot-as-eff art-punk combo Bodega should probably go spend a lot of loot on the lottos because their fave band is on a winning streak. Not only is their debut album coming out in just a few weeks, but the quintet recently released a new single AND has announced a whole lotta North American tour dates. Cha-ching!

Although many bands based in the five boroughs tend to get hyped more than, say, “Embarrass, Minnesota’s own…” would, Bodega’s buzz seems legitimately justified, with live shows reportedly being nothing short of “experiences” that get talked-about for months afterwards — and that lean and mean excitement level translates well on record.

Endless Scroll is out June 1 on CD, DL, LP, and a limited, teal-colored LP courtesy of the tasteful NYC imprint What’s Your Rupture and includes the latest single, “Jack in Titanic,” which can be seen and heard below.

The band is overseas now, about to play the Great Escape Festival and other shows in the UK and in Europe before heading back home to put on an Endless Scroll release party show on their home turf in Brooklyn. Then they begin a big North American tour (read: lots of U.S. dates plus Toronto).

In addition to the video for the “learned male behavior”-inspired “Jack in Titanic,” check out the Endless Scroll tracklisting and full schedule of live dates below, and head here to pre-order the album. Because, for Bodega, life is a gift; and they don’t plan on wasting it.
