Danish experimental duo Damien Dubrovnik announce new album Great Many Arrows on Posh Isolation
Now that's what you call "pullin' it back and lettin' it go."

Exciting news from the happiest country in the world (although you’d never guess when listening to the music I’m about to talk about)! Danish electronic label Posh Isolation is set to put out their 200th release soon! And fittingly enough, it comes in the form of the fourth LP from Damien Dubrovnik. Comprised of label founders Loke Rahbek (a.k.a. Croatian Amor) and Christian Stadsgaard, the duo were also the very first act to release a record on the now eight-year old label. “Without Damien Dubrovnik there would most likely have been no Posh Isolation, and vice versa.” Awww. <3

Titled Great Many Arrows, the album will be out on June 30. The project’s first since 2015, it trades in some of their noisy industrial vistas for gentle touches of “organs, cellos, violas, wind and other acoustic instruments,” and sets them against a thick synthesized background. According to the label, “The strength of the recording lies here in the interaction between the melodic, acoustic instrumentation and the bulldozing electronics.”

The first cut of the album, six-minute-long “Arrow 5,” was released alongside the announcement. Listen below, pre-order the album here, and then check out the cover art and the rather self-explanatory LP tracklist.
