Hollywood may have struggled to get audiences to buy-in on a sequel-heavy summer this year, but if past trends are any indication, Danny Brown won’t be having the same problem with his own blockbuster franchise follow-up: the 4th annual Bruiser Thanksgiving!

Brown started his yearly concert/rave/holiday get-together/orgiastic bacchanal in the innocent days of 2013, and each one has sold out since. But this year’s Bruiser Thanksgiving, which takes place on November 22 at the soon-to-be demolished Club Fantasy in Brown’s hometown of Detroit (AKA the Hollywood of Southeast Michigan), is set to be the BIGGEST, boldest, and basedest yet…because Brown is sharing headlining duties with the global phenomenon that is Lil B. That’s right, folks: two icons — Black Ken AND the Black Brad Pitt — under the same roof in the Motor City. I bet you can guess what I’m thankful for this year!

As if that wasn’t already enough, the Bruiser team is also bringing along Jlin, Venus X, John F.M., Detroit Lines, Container, and EVEN MORE (how tho?) to the rave afterparty, transforming this dream bill into a transcendental state of being unrivaled by that offered by any other annual Thanksgiving concert event in the state of Michigan being held this year, and I say that with confidence. Detroit’s back, baby!

If you’re ready to party-it-up Midwest style (which I, as someone who lives here, wouldn’t normally recommend) and dance and/or mosh off a few pounds before gorging on traditional holiday calorie dumps, you can purchase tickets (which will run you a very reasonable $27) over here. If, for some insane reason, you’re still “on the fence” about partying-it-up Midwest style, check out a few of clips from past Bruiser Thanksgivings for a taste of the time-of-your-life you’d be missing out on if you passed on the opportunity. In either case: Happy Basedgiving, y’all!
