Ahhh. There’s nothing quiet like the experience of dawn on the open road…

Well, except maybe for the experience of Dawn Richard on the open road.

Yeah, yeah; okay, joke’s over. That’s right, though: appropriately hot on the heels of her recent announcement of a new album coming early next year and the unveiling of a new video “Jealousy,” the emphatically caps-locked DAWN is back again to announce that she’ll be embarking upon an “intimate and unique support tour experience” later this year with New Zealand artist (I’m sure she’s super DAWN-ish) Kimbra.

That whole “intimate and unique” bit is for real, too, because the dates — which span from the end of this month through early December (get tickets here starting Friday, September 21) — will also find the indefatigable DAWN “reimagining her solo work with nothing but her Moog synthesizer.” Whoa! Who knew? A STILL-MORE GLORIOUS DAWN awaits us, after all!

Okay, okay, just messing with you; here’s some DAWN:
