Dead Meadow are taking to the road for a brief West Coast mini-tour with new J. Mascis project Sweet Apple this month. The lords of the modern day psych-rock scene will be repping their most recent album, last year’s DVD/LP Three Kings (TMT Review) on Xemu, the long-awaited, experimental, mandolins-only soundtrack to the 1999 Mark Wahlberg/George Clooney/Ice Cube war movie. (OK, not true. THAT WE KNOW OF.) This is Dead Meadow’s first expedition since an Australian jaunt in October.
