Fun Fun Fun Fest announces lineup, gets Bill Nye to scientifically prove that it's the best fest

Fun Fun Fun Fest is back for its tenth-annual go-round this fall. From November 6-8, the city of Austin will be awash in fun, when groups like Jane’s Addiction, The Wu-Tang Clan, Drive Like Jehu, Rae Sremmurd, and D’Angelo and the Vanguard take over the city. They even got Bill Nye the Science Guy to record a video proving that the festival is the funnest festival in the world, based of course on science. No word yet on a Designated Area to High Five Bill Nye In, which seems like a pretty essential addition to a festival based on… well, you know what.

Also part of the lineup are the following: Venom, Gogol Bordello, Chromeo, NOFX, Grimes, ANTEMASQUE, ScHoolboy Q, Future Islands, Toro y Moi, ODESZA, CHVRCHES, Dag Nasty, RIDE, Cheap Trick, American Football, The Growlers, Fuzz, Mikal Cronin, The Charlatans UK, Viet Cong, Alvvays, Speedy Ortiz, Murder By Death, Cass McCombs, Steve Gunn, BRONCHO, Grifters, Creepoid, East Cameron Folkcore, A Giant Dog, Think No Think, Ringo Deathstarr, Neon Indian, MSTRKRFT, Hudson Mohawke, Gesaffelstein (DJ set), Peaches, Joey Bada$$, Big Freedia, Afrika Bambaataa, Slow Magic, Lido, Doomtree, BADBADNOTGOOD, Anamanaguchi, Shamir, Bomba Estereo, Snakehips, TOPS, Haelos, Two-Nine, Roger Sellers, The Outfit, TX, SURVIVE, Coheed and Cambria, L7, Desaparecidos, American Nightmare, Converge, Chain of Strength, Skinny Puppy, Babes in Toyland, Parquet Courts, OFF!, La Dispute, Title Fight, Fucked Up, Head Wound City, Dwarves, King Khan and BBQ Show, Benjamin Booker, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Nothing, together PANGEA, Power Trip, Joanna Gruesome, American Sharks, and Future Death.

You can buy three-day weekend passes for $199 and something called the Ultimate Smooth Pass (which kinda sounds disturbing, sorry) for $450 at
