As the New York Times bestselling author and renowned motivational role model begins to celebrate his long-awaited marriage, he has also decided to pay it forward by hinting at another album coming before the end of 2017 (Droptopwop having dropped its top back in May, followed-up swiftly by Mr. Davis just last month). It’s name? El Gato The Human Glacier.
El Gato is presumably named after his most-recently acquired piece of jewelry: a solid-diamond cat necklace. It seems that the secret to Gucci’s recent weight loss has been keeping an incredibly cold stomach (or, failing that, just walking around supporting the tremendous weight of an entire mine’s worth of precious AF rocks).
Whew. Okay, I think we’re finally getting back up to speed with all-things-Gucci. So, if El Gato does indeed — as Gucci himself seemed to promise in his tweet — come out before his honeymoon later this year, it’ll will be Gucci’s THIRD album of 2017. And btw: in case you live under a rap-proof rock, Mr. Davis has already reached the #2 seat on Billboard (whatever that is), moving 70,000 units and already tying 2016’s Everybody Looking as the highest charting album for the Atlanta rapper.
