Well, if your dreams involve an unlikely yet charming soul singer rolling around in his underwear, crooning at your girlfriend, and a Macaulay Culkin-fronted Velvet Underground cover band that sings exclusively about pizza. But of course they do, your dreams. Of course they involve this. You’re America. You love pizza. Move over, Bald Eagle. We’ve got a NEW national bird and it comes with GARLIC DIPPIN’ SAUCE.
Har Mar Superstar (which is the first, sexier part of this dream) is hot off a European tour, and celebrating the release of his most recent studio album, Bye Bye 17, which was released on Julian Casablancas’ Cult Records label. The Pizza Underground have not recently returned from Europe, but they have recently made a whole lot of pizzas. (This is not a joke: check out their Facebook page. It also is not in way time relevant: you could read this article a year from now and they still probably would be posting about making pizza together. Again: check the Facebook.)
And while Har Mar is doing some dates on his own, on many the Pizza Underground will be journeying right alongside him. So there you go, America, live your dreams.
