JPEGMAFIA rejected as White House correspondent, instead releases new ferocious video on Deathbomb Arc
"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. And now for today's top stories..."

Baltimore experimental artist JPEGMAFIA (also known as Peggy or The Black Ben Carson) is as much a political critic as he is a rapper. Out of his tremendous output as rapper/producer over the past few years, a majority finds the guy taking radical stances that he said earn him a constant stream of death threats. Tracks like “Digital Blackface,” “BUMBOPUSSYRASCLAT,” and “I Might Vote 4 Donald Trump” have found many (or, at least me) calling for his promotion to full-time White House media correspondent.

That hasn’t worked out, though (yet). So instead, JPEGMAFIA is keeping the brutally real rap coming with “Baby I’m Bleeding,” the first single from his upcoming full-length Veteran, out January on Deathbomb Arc. You can watch that video down below.

Where last year’s The 2nd Amendment found the rapper out and about, scouring white suburban neighborhoods alongside fellow rapper Freaky, “Baby I’m Bleeding” puts him square in the center of a claustrophobic, windowless room. The lyrics for the first 45 seconds of the track consist of “ah, fuck!” and some grunting. (That’s something I think could really help spice up Hannity.) Then, Peggy is back at his game, rapping “Now I’m at the White House / Looking for your president / Hop out the van pointing guns at your residents” over a shuddering, machine-gunning beat.

While CBS This Morning and CNN Inside Politics don’t yet approve of JPEGMAFIA’s political media coverage, here at TMT, we do. You can, RIGHT NOW, pre-order Veteran on cassette and digital download via the outsider rap connoisseurs at Deathbomb Arc. Sick of Anderson Cooper? Don’t worry! Peggy’s got you covered.
