Like a latter-day, musical, not-in-a-relationship-or-criminally-inclined Bonnie and Clyde, The Soft Pack and Kurt Vile are teaming up this fall to cut a swathe of rock ‘n’ roll destruction across North America (okay, so basically the comparison doesn’t really hold after more than two seconds’ worth of close scrutiny, but you know what I mean), the former supporting its self-titled debut on Kemado and the latter the Square Shells EP (TMT Review) on Matador. Fresh off a fantastic Lollapalooza performance, The Soft Pack are heading out across America before picking up Kurt Vile in Atlanta. Who needs summer with a co-headlining tour that hot?
