Lazy Magnet releases third and final box set, declares, "When I die, 1,000 songs will fly out of my mouth"

In a move that is neither lazy or magnetic (though I suppose CDs do contain alloys if you want to debate that hackneyed opening sentence with me), the diligent, oxygen- and carbon-based Jeremy Harris has totally phoenixed, dissolving his 20-year-old synth project Lazy Magnet and releasing 64 new songs on the way out.

Harris played his last shows under the Lazy Magnet name back in May and promptly sold out of the five-CD box set, which was housed in a swanky handmade book with accompanying liner notes. Now, presumably because J-Hare’s friends accused him of dipping into their beer budget, he’s releasing a cheaper, cassette version of the set, which features scrapped albums, alternate versions, and brand-new songs. Samples from each tape/disc of the box set are available for listening here. You can pick up a copy yourself via the Lazy Magnet Facebook or via Mr. Harris himself when he hits the road in support of his new project Jerome.
