Case in point: PKP have a new album on the way, it will be out on April 21 via Burger Records, and it’s loaded with straight-up, easily digestible nuggets of sweetly sung power pop. Just what the doctor ordered, right?
To prove how easy PKP think your life ought to be, they haven’t even bothered giving the album some fancy title; it’s simply called III, because it’s Allie Hanlon’s third album, and she’d rather you spend your time considering the lyrics to her songs, which make references to Mario Brothers, Sailor Moon, and an assortment of pop culture ephemera from the late 1900s when life was actually good.
