Sannhet answer question of how numb they are on new LP So Numb, out next month on Profound Lore
Sufjan Stevens wearing a Sannhet shirt.

Sorry if you were just starting to feel all nice and tingly; but it’s time tolook alive for a second, people: we have a new one comin’ down the line from Brooklyn-based, heavy instrumental trio Sannhet. The band’s third LP, titled So Numb, will be released August 25 on metal label Profound Lore Records. The album consists of nine tracks and was produced by Peter Katis, who has worked with Interpol and The National. Their 2015 album Revisionist was rather aggressive, but the new one promises to be a bit more atmospheric and nuanced — based on the somnolent cover art and (relatively) languid and hazy tracks that have been released so far, at least.

Speaking of which — if that nice, calming photo up above of Sufjan Stevens wearing a Sannhet shirt didn’t do the trick, you can get yourself nicely anesthetized by peeping the official video for album track “Salts” down below.

Oh yeah, and after you’re done, you can pre-order the LP or CD here, if your dazed mind and deadened fingers are so inclined.
