For their birthday, BPitch Control eschew spankings, release compiliation

Happy Birthday, BPitch Control! The German techno label created by DJ Ellen Allien is 12 years old. That’s 80 in cat years! And to celebrate, the label is giving a gift to its fans. (Wait, that’s not how birthdays are supposed to work….) It’s a compilation spanning the label’s 12 years, entitled Werkschau (which is German for “showcase”), and set for a January 31 release. Hip hip, hooray!
