YoungBoy Never Broke Again continues heroic ascent with a debut album (finally)

YoungBoy Never Broke Again is a knight in shining armor, a radiant beam of light, a skyrocket to the stars. Or at least, that’s what is easiest to believe after the Baton Rouge rapper’s year last of success and admiration. Following a string of highly-acclaimed mixtapes in 2017, YoungBoy is beginning the new year with a debut album and two brand new tracks. Until Death Call My Name arrives March 2.

2017 saw Youngboy NBA rise quickly on YouTube plays and album streams, with his latest mixtapes finding spots on countless critics’ lists. Ain’t Too Long was one of our favorite mixtapes of October and the big-wheeling AI YOUNGBOY was one of our favorites of August.

Filling in the world on the debut’s title, shining light YoungBoy stated “I just want to strive to be the best man I can be. I want to spend as much time with my children and family as I can. I want to keep working on all of this music every day. I just want to go as hard as I can until death calls my name.” YoungBoy NBA is LAWFUL GOOD.

The full tracklist has yet to be revealed, but if you haven’t already pre-ordered, here’s a kicker: each pre-order will get instant access to the tracks “Solar Eclipse” and “Outside Today.” Go get a catchy, good ol’ Southern taste of what’s to come with the video for “Outside Today,” which is also streaming now from whence out humble hero’s story first began (YouTube, that is).
