♫♪  F1K - “Bottom Up Cognition”

Ain’t a doubt in my mind that Sweat Equity will rule the underground club scene this year. Shit, yeah L.I.E.S. and 1080p and Bootleg Tapes are going strong, but the crispness of each new artist/producer Sweat Equity invests in always brings a newness to the label’s lineage and a heat that is unsweatable. Kicking down the door with “Bottom Up Condition” is F1K, fluttering a base that thumps on the low-end, mixed against a siren echoing against anti-harmony in a juxtaposition for dance inspiration. Movement is one thing here. HOW YOU MOVE is the second that trickles in like a twitch — akin to the sound played with in “Bottom Up Condition” — as if it triggers each individual to express themselves freely and personally, rather than some Paula Abdul, cowboy disco type synchronization. “Bottom Up Condition” is all in you. Let F1K be you dancing spirit guide. Feel the new EP Touched Music out this Friday (CD and digital pre-order available right now). And Sweat Equity is the club altar. Worship:
