♫♪  POPOL VUH - Werner Herzog’s NOSFERATU, THE VAMPYRE

Spencer Clark would be kicking me right now if I had told him my lack of familiarity with POPOL VUH’s work in Werner Herzog’s NOSFERATU, THE VAMPYRE. As if the creative thinker’s mind weren’t already running rampant (whether or not you’ve watched NOSFERATU, THE VAMPYRE) POPOL VUH’s soundtrack runs a muck of mystery and shrouded internal visions for listeners ready for a long burner. Just shy of an hour, POPOL VUH traverses ground in Werner Herzog’s NOSFERATU, THE VAMPYRE that Waxworks Records has slapped on two gorgeous marble vinyl (with 500 on blue/gold swirl), cut through 180 grams, and will include four extra tracks from the film, and originally released on the Popol Vuh album, Bruder des Schattens - Sohne des Lichts. As well, the LP and gatefold arts have all been commissions from Jessica Seamans of Landland, which is the first officially-approved NOSFERATU, THE VAMPYRE soundtrack artwork since the original 1978 soundtrack release.

Since it dropped today, and so close to the holiday, y’all better grip this piece of work quick, as I’ve always found OST LP reissues I want sell out quick, leaving me all bummed. And don’t forget to snoop around the Waxworks Records store departments, as they most recently helped me complete my murdered Camp Crystal Lake counselor outfit. So put yourself in the mood with Werner Herzog’s NOSFERATU, THE VAMPYRE, and set it right next to you copy of Black One, because you know where this train of thought is going.
