Fall is on the horizon, and those great purveyors of autumnal folk-styled indie rock The Black Heart Procession have a gift for you! Whatever could it be, you ask? Perhaps a nice gift box full of scented soaps? A brownie mix with a poem comparing cooking to friendship? Dockers pleated slacks? Well, this is Black Heart Procession, so it’s something called Blood Bunny/Black Rabbit, and it’s a limited-edition EP available on October 12 via Temporary Residence Limited. The EP includes three new songs from the group, plus a collaboration with famed dub dude Lee “Scratch” Perry and a reworking of the track “Drugs” by Eluvium.
To celebrate the unleashing of Blood Bunny into the world, Black Heart Procession are hitting the road this fall with fellow Temporary Residence amigos The Books.
