Blackest Ever Black announces new LP from Raspberry Bulbs; band still kills it with the pink album cover

If Raspberry Bulbs had only done the provocative-pink-album-cover-thing for their first and second LPs, it might have seemed half-assed. However, it is clear from their recent announcement of a third LP (and subsequent proof of that LP’s album cover color) that these Bulbs take their provocation seriously. Nice follow-through.

Privacy will be issued by Blackest Ever Black on November 15. BEB also released the bands’ sophomore LP, Deformed Worship, just last year. Raspberry Bulbs was originally conceived of as the solo effort of Bone Awl co-founder Marco Del Rio. He expanded his project to a quintet following Hospital Productions’ release of RB’s debut, Nature Tries Again, in 2011.

Since Privacy is meant to be a call for internal resistance to modern trends of “‘connection’, exhibitionism, and peer approval,” I strongly encourage you not to listen to or publicly share the album’s preview track, “Light Surrounds Me,” below.
