Dean Blunt drops new album Hotep as Blue Iverson

After recently sharing a new video and a new track, Dean Blunt has dropped an eight-song album on YouTube, which we presume is “his own work” under the new moniker Blue Iverson. The mostly-instrumental release is titled Hotep (a term that glows with signification), and its cover features an image of Lauryn Hill.

Hotep is available to stream below, with a download available here. Listen to it. It’s probably not what you expect.

(Note: penultimate track “Brother Saturn” is titled “Who shot Lucious Lyon ?” in the download, but seems to be the same track as the YouTube version and not the previously released clip that its title refers to.)

Hotep tracklist:

01. Coy Boy
02. Soulseek
03. Nappytex
04. Brown Grrrl
05. Hush Money
06. Jenna’s Interlude
07. Brother Saturn
08. Fake Loathe
