Elysia Crampton (f.k.a. E+E) reissues back-catalog, beginning with Bound Adam

This might be a slight understatement, but it’s shaping up to be one hell of a year for Elysia Crampton (catch Jrodiguez6’s stunning interview here, if you haven’t already). Her new full-length, American Drift, is released today, following the stellar “Moth / Lake” 7-inch released on Boomkat Editions in May; now she is gearing up for a “series of reissues” on Total Stasis, with previously digital-only works receiving shiny new vinyl pressings.

First in line to get the reissue treatment is Bound Adam, a release from 2011. According to Crampton, it pays tribute to the Ford Ranger, which was discontinued that year: “it is a speculative/ontological poem about a relationship with a car.” If anything, the series will shine a light on the extensive (not to mention fascinating) backlog of recordings under the E+E moniker and, who knows, maybe even give the world a physical edition of TMT’s beloved The Light That You Gave Me To See You. We can never have too much Elysia Crampton in our lives, that’s for sure.

Bound Adam can be purchased here. Stay tuned for more E+E reissue goodness.
