For her debut LP as Bloom Offering, Seattle’s Nicole Carr drops gritty, nocturnal goth synth jams ripe for the full moon that’s upon us.
To whet our autumnal appetites forthcoming album, dubbed Episodes, a new video for the propulsive dark-wave standout, “Venus Shrugged,” is on display below. Directed by Helen Scarsdale’s Jim Haynes, the video features glitchy, hallucinatory images of a mysterious figure coming-in-and-out of sight and focus. Like what you see and hear?
