SO, like, what-chu-been up to, Jens? Other than being handsome, of course.
What’s that? You say it’s because you’ve “been working endless nights trying to finish [your] new album” and that it’s “99% done now!”? Well, that’s so awesome, my friend, cuz if I didn’t know better, I’d say it “feels like” it’s been nigh-on four years since your last one! But you’re right, I’m probably just bein’ crazy.
You know what you should totally do though?? This is gonna sound kinda crazy, but don’t laugh, Jens: what if you were to just… like, sorta “head out and do five shows” in November “to try some of the new songs before the album comes out”? Like, they could even just be “solo shows, just [you], a guitar, maybe a sampler, maybe a glass of red wine resting nonchalantly on [your] guitar amp?” Just the cool spots, too; you know, NY, LA, Chicago, London, Stockholm? Maybe tell a few nice jokes and sing a little, put on a drum machine so people can dance for a bit until their cheeks are all nice and cozy-rosy?
I dunno. Just… just an idea. It’s pro’lly stupid, though. Sorry, Jens. Don’t be mad at me?
