Studies show that 90% of Instagram photos are either of a dog or a fancy dinner or a dog eating a fancy dinner. But 90% of Instagram users aren’t Chance The Rapper and Lil B, because that makes no sense mathematically. In any case, Lil B recently got together with Chance to make a “based freestyle album” and then announced it via his Instagram. Chance did the same through his Instagram, in case you were worried this was some sort of Based World flight of fancy.
Further details on the album are scarce. So scarce, in fact, that none exist. No release date, no tracklist, not a single thing to tell you. Entirely possible that the album may never see release, but hopefully that will not be the case. Chance The Rapper most recently put out Surf, as part of Donnie Trumpet and The Social Experiment, earlier this year. Lil B most recently put out Ultimate Bitch last year, but it is entirely possible that, by the time of this publication, he has dropped a 94-track mixtape themed around, say, the OJ Simpson trial.
