With dreamy, acoustic-y folk stuff like Marissa Nadler’s music, I don’t really come down too hard one way or the other on it. Seems antithetical to its dreamy, acoustic-y, folkiness, doesn’t it? Speaking of which, yeah, I heard her new album for Sacred Bones. It’s called July, but it was released back in February. Weird things like that can influence our decisions, you know?
Now that July (the month) is practically around the corner and she’s touring the record all around the US and Europe, I feel like we could potentially make an effort to reevaluate our feelings on the matter… such as they are. Or whatever; I don’t want to commit to anything one way or the other, really. If it’s all the same to you, I think I’ll just stick to listing the dates and places down below.
