Mark Van Hoen (Locust / Seefeel) returns with new album Nightvision

When you get to the higher echelons of the music business Illuminati, they reveal a lot of shit to you. One of the best-kept secrets in music is that L.A.-based/UK-born artist Mark Van Hoen is pretty much responsible for a large portion of the music/media we consume. The dude has been making tunes for three or so decades, collaborating with Seefeel’s Daren Seymour, Slowdive’s Neil Halstead and Nick Holton as Black Hearted Brother, Louis Sherman as Locust, and Martin Maeers with Children of the Stones. His career spans TV, radio, and film, and he has released records on Touch, Editions Mego, City Centre Offices, The Tapeworm, and Saint Marie Records.

His latest one is for Saint Marie Records, too. Nightvision is exactly what it sounds like: electro/drone for 4 AM, when everyone else is asleep. It comes out November 13 as an LP/CD/digital download.
