Greetings from the toilet, dear readers! In the time it takes my bowels to finish doing their thang, I’m fucking determined to tell you all of the info regarding a new collaborative release that we just caught stinky wind of this morning. Ugh… oh man, something tells me I’d better step on it!
Specifically, it’s a collab between Mykki Blanco, the NY rapper/poet/performance artist extraordinare who we’ve been trying to tell you to check out for like FOREVER, and Gobby, who I’m pretty sure is that stoner character from those horrible Jimmy Fallon SNL skits.
The project itself seems to be called Gay Dog Food (first word on this came from Dazed); and the resultant album, which was given the less impressive title of Fem Slick, is due out this October via the UNO label. Down below, you can check out the track “New Feelings,” which they’re calling a “prologue” to the new release, and was recorded in Vladivostok, Russia with producer Sasha DZA. But… speaking of “new feelings” and “down below,” holy SHIT, guys! I have GOT to wrap this up. Thanks for being here with me during this BM though. I think it really helped! <3
