Dear reader: I will level with you. Queens MC Remy Banks is employing a specific stylistic choice in his mixtape and song titles as of late. It involves lowercase letters and periods. Remy Banks, of the groups World’s Fair and Children of the Night, just released higher., a new mixtape available through his site. See what I mean about the lowercase + period thing? The tape features guest appearances from Odd Future/The Internet’s Syd, as well as Ratking MCs D.R.A.M. and Hak. Production-wise, the mixtape boasts contributions from Black Noi$e, Odd Future’s Left Brain, Ratking’s Sporting Life, and King Krule. Watch a video for higher. track “exhale.” below. Banks is currently on tour with Earl Sweatshirt for a tour ending within the next week. But the firm of Sweatshirt and Banks will reunite this August for a series of dates stretching into much of September. Hey, when you think young rappers touring together for two separate tours in the year 2015, think Sweatshirt and Banks.
