In support of the deluxe (and expensive) reissue of the incredible Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space, Spiritualized performed the album in full in England earlier this year (Matt Groening requested it at ATP, and he’s a man who gets what he wants). This summer, they’re bringing the experience stateside for one last hurrah. The band recently announced that it will perform Ladies and Gentlemen in a one-time-only North American concert July 30 at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The performance is part of Spin’s 25th anniversary celebration and will be the last time the band will perform the album in full.
If the rarity of the performance wasn’t bad enough for non-New Yorkers, a small batch of lucky ticket purchasers will also get a limited-edition Ladies and Gentlemen t-shirt pill box set, should they be fortunate enough to get one of those coveted spots in the crowd.
