Triad God, the pseudonym of Vinh Ngan, is back with a new track, “Remand.” Well, it’s sorta new. The thumping original appeared on 2011’s Aym G 4 Life EP, but this new version is reworked to sound about as slick as you’d expect from Hippos In Tanks, who are reissuing Triad God’s excellent NXB mixtape (originally released on Triple You Tapes) on November 13 and also releasing his new album, slated for 2013. The Fader calls “Remand” a “single,” but it’s not entirely clear for which release — perhaps it’s tacked onto NXB as an extra track or will appear on the new album? Who knows. Just listen and make sure you check out NXB, which is lyrically pretty vulgar, according to my mom. Or in her words: “Wow, he so bad!”
