CrushnPain
All Mountains EP [CS; BLIGHT.]

No one will be able to fill that Prince-shaped hole in our hearts or our libidos. But damned if Austin Gallas AKA CrushnPain doesn’t try. Yes, the name seems like it’s straight from the late-90’s rapper name playbook, but the only thread in common is the soul and hip-hop tinged flavor of Gallas’ idiosyncratic pop. In all honesty, these are some sultry slow jams unafraid of psychotropic honesty. A lot of heady melodies and dense beats surrounded by Gallas’ Yorke-cum-Buckley pitch. I can waste time with a lot of words, but really there’s only one thing that can accurately summarize All Mountains:
