♫♪  BOTTOM TEXT - “Garnishing”

Nobody can take my love of El cuarto elástico away from me, nor my salt shaker. A flurry of herbs, like cilantro or parsley, to brighten everything. Spring onions, chives, green salsa, hot sauces. And, of course, one of Goya’s most affective, instrumental, and monumental Adobo seasonings on everything.

Flurried text forms a strange duet. One vocalist in “Garnishing” recites, “Off beat manipulations in time and perspective,” which is a kind of ars poetica for the whole of El cuarto elástico, in English, The Elastic Room, in a humble kitchen, on a very colorful plate.

The other voice is the garnish. Turmeric and pepper. Rosemary salt. Something simple eaten in your bedroom, hitting buttons, dirty computer, a napkin to wipe it all clean and start over.
