Where would rock be without the dangers of electricity, the possibility of getting shocked to shit in a perfect Final Destination storm?
In “Playing Dumb,” there’s that solo around 2:40; someone got the storm… There’s an occasional toggle and squeal, or a ring of feedback… But for the most part, electricity behaves well for LAW$UITS, and they play it forward, straight and steady, wet and loud. I’m surprised the storm doesn’t get them more often. Funny, a storm shadow looms, yet all is blue and clear. Kind of like a drunk runner horseplaying behind the starter’s back, but when the starter turns around, the runner toes the line.
