♫♪  Lockbox - “Shinjuku”

Lockbox has come a long way from their beginnings on Animal Image Search, noodling on a toy-synth, sounding like Skaters mingling with On Air Rraro. Influence-wise, it doesn’t sound like Lockbox has changed very much, as their newest track “Shinjuku” on PRIMORDIAL VOID sounds like a cut from Suki Girls era Rraro, but with a steady beat and Sonic coin samples crashing in the background. Lots of nice ear-candy pop-rocking around the inside of your skull. If “Shinjuku” is just a snippet of the new Lockbox release Neo Druid on PRIMORDIAL VOID, get ready to cut the whole loaf August 31. In the mean time, scope Lockbox’s Melting Point Mix Series and head to their 7/28 event in NYC at h0l0. Bye:
