Some things find themselves at just the right moment, manifesting in perfect atmosphere that is just too righteous. It takes some coincidental stumbling to really appreciate that alignment. Impactful or just fleetingly pleasant, it makes no difference. In fact, I’m not sure which of those best suits Poás, but to hell with a screed. Ogeon’s latest foggy, voyeur, ambient tape is a literal trip, to dreamlike Poás in Alajuela, Costa Rica. Cascading frigid mist, circling down the caldera and bringing you with it. A tape of teeming desolation, heaven adjacent to Earth. Best for similarly cloudy minds, for chilly subsumed eardrums.
